Day 01: Chandigarh – Shimla(130Kms/ 4hrs)

You will meet Fantabulous Holidays representative at Chandigarh, and start your journey to beautiful hills station Shimla. He/ She will assist you with transfer to the hotel at Shimla.  Welcome to the Shimla.  Free at leisure for the rest of the day. At evening enjoy at Mall Road. Later back to hotel.

Shimla, also known as Simla, is a hill station located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is the capital and also the biggest city of Himachal Pradesh. It is about 2,276 metres above sea level. The city of Shimla is probably best known as the Summer Capital of the British during their reign in India. A lot of time has already passed since the independence, but Shimla has retained its colonial charm with the several structures in the region. Perhaps this is what makes the city unique, set amidst the snow-clad background are these examples of colonial architecture that you won’t find elsewhere in the country.

Day 02: Shimla -Kufri- Shimla (21kms/ 45mins)

Morning after delicious breakfast visit to half day city tour visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple, Afternoon visit to excursion tour of Kufri.

Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh . It is located 13 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.22. The name Kufri is derived from the word kufr meaning “lake” in the local language. India’s one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla. It has an average elevation of 2,290 metres (7,510 feet). The place is a tourist hot spot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. There are many beautiful places to visit like Green valley, Wild flower hall, Hali Pad, Kufri, Indira tourist park, Mini zoo and fagu valley. Most restaurants are centered in and around the main market area. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town –“THE MALL & THE RIDGE”. This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla’s landmarks – the neo-gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo-Tudor library building are worth seeing.

Day 03: Shimla –Kullu- Manali (280kms / 7hrs)

Morning after healthy breakfast check out from hotel in shimla, and proceed to Manali.

Manali is a Valley nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley. The name Manali literally means “The Abode of Manu”. This is how Manali came to be, according to Hindu mythology. According to Hindu mythology, he saved mankind from extinction by building a boat that helped save a few humans from the great flood that savaged the Earth.  Summers see the advent of activities like zorbing and paragliding while winters see the advent of activities like skiing and snow scootering.  It is the hot spot for river rafting, usually done post-monsoon season when the rapids are high. Manali also has a number of temples that you can visit like Hidimba Devi Temple, Solang Valley, Bhrigu Lake, Museum of Himachal Culture & Folk Art ,Ghatotkach Tree Temple ,Siyali Mahadev Temple.The climate in Manali is predominantly cold during winter and moderately cool during summer.Arrive at Manali and check in the hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets.

Day 04: Manali Local sightseeing- Dharamshala (235kms/ 6hrs 22mins)

Morning after enjoying your breakfast check out and depart to you next destination Dharamshala En route visit to city tour of Manali.

Visiting the Hidimba Devi temple, dedicated to Goddess Hidimba, it exudes serenity and with the views of the snow-capped mountains. The only Manu temple in India is also located in Manali. Tibetan Monastery,Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashistha and to Lord Rama.

Solang Valley is an all-year round attraction in Manali. During summers, you can indulge in activities like paragliding, zorbing, parachuting and even horse riding. Covered by green meadows and with the warmth of the sun, the valley looks every bit as picturesque. During winters, sports like skiing, sledging and snow scootering are available here. It is Heaven on earth. Once you visit to the valley, you will feel positive vibes, calmness and absolute peace here. Later back to hotel, evening free for leisure. Check-in at hotel.

Day 05: Dharamshala – Mcleodganj Sightseeing (6 kms/ 22mins)

Morning after delicious breakfast, proceed to local sightseeing of Dharamshala.

Bhagsunag – This temple is located at a height of 1770 m above sea level. Surrounded by beautiful pools and lush greenery. The pools around this temple are believed to be sacred and contain miraculous powers of healing. The temple was built by King Bhagsu and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Dal lake And Naddi – Dal lake is 11 km from lower Dharamshala and lies in between hills and deodar trees. This is a starting point for trekking and excursion, which is covered around the lake to make the walk memorable.

Mcleodganj – Dalai lama monestary- Overlooking the mountain ranges of Dhauladhar, the Namgyal Monastery is situated within the Tsuglagkhang complex. This complex also is the proud home to the residence of Dalai Lama, among various other shrines, temples, bookstores, souvenir shops etc. Tibet museum, tsuglagkhang complex(dalai lama temple).

St. John’s Church – This neo-gothic church was built in 1852 and is one of the most important churches in Himachal Pradesh. Located near Dharamshala and on the way to Mcleodganj. This church was built in dedication to John the Baptist. Evening back to hotel.

Day 06: Dharamshala – Kangra Fort (24kms/ 44mins) and Chamunda Devi Temple Sightseeing (90kms/1hrs 48mins)

Morning after Breakfast visit to Kangra Fort, Chamunda Temple.

Kangra Fort– The Kangra Fort is located atop a hill at the confluence of Banganga and Patal Ganga river (also known as the Majhi), in the south western outskirts of the old Kangra town. The fort was built by the founder of Katoch Dynasty, Bhumi Chandra and is also known by other names, Nagarkot and Kot Kangra.

Norbulingka- Norbulingka Institute was founded near Dharamshala in 1988 for preserving Tibetan culture, literature and art. The institute is named after Norbulingka, the summer residence of the Dalai Lamas in Lhasa, Tibet.

Chamunda Temple- Commonly known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham, it is a famous temple of Goddess Shakti, who is the goddess of power. The temple complex holds a Kund in it where devotees take a holy dip in it because it has sacred importance. However, the main deity of the temple is not accessible to the visitors as it is under cover. A cave-like scoop that is in the back of the temple has importance of being representing an embodiment of Shiva in the form of stone lingam.

Association Stadium Himachal Pradesh Cricket, abbreviated as the HPCA Stadium, is a picturesque cricket stadium located in the city of Dharamshala District Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, India. Later back to hotel.
