Meet and Greet Fantabulous Holidays representative at Chandigarh, and start your journey to beautiful hills station Shimla. Welcome to the Shimla. He/ She will assist you with transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. At evening enjoy at Mall Road. Later back to hotel.
Shimla, also known as Simla, is a hill station located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is the capital and also the biggest city of Himachal Pradesh. It is about 2,276 metres above sea level. The city of Shimla is probably best known as the Summer Capital of the British during their reign in India. A lot of time has already passed since the independence, but Shimla has retained its colonial charm with the several structures in the region. Perhaps this is what makes the city unique, set amidst the snow-clad background are these examples of colonial architecture that you won’t find elsewhere in the country.

Day 02: Shimla City Tour – Kufri – Shimla (24kms/ 30min)
Morning after delicious breakfast visit half day city tour visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple, Afternoon visit to excursion tour of Kufri.
Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh . It is located 13 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.22. The name Kufri is derived from the word kufr meaning “lake” in the local language. India’s one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla. It has an average elevation of 2,290 metres (7,510 feet). The place is a tourist hot spot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. There are many beautiful places to visit like Green valley, Wild flower hall, Hali Pad, Kufri, Indira tourist park, Mini zoo and fagu valley. Most restaurants are centered in and around the main market area. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town –“THE MALL & THE RIDGE”. This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla’s landmarks – the neo-gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo-Tudor library building are worth seeing.

Day 03: Shimla – Dharamshala (237kms/6hr 46min)
Morning after healthy breakfast, check out from shimla hotel and depart to you next destination Dharamshala.
Dharamshala is the second winter capital of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It was formerly known as Bhagsu. It’s placed at an average altitude of 1,475 meters above sea level. The city is surrounded a thick cover of deodar cedar trees and is one of the major strong holds for the Tibetan refugees and the seat of the 14th Dalai Lama of the Tibetan sect of Buddhism. Day 04: Dharamshala – Local and Mcleodganj Sightseeing (6 kms/ 22min)
Morning after warm breakfast, proceed to local sightseeing of Dharamshala.
Bhagsunag – This temple is located at a height of 1770 m above sea level. Surrounded by beautiful pools and lush greenery.The pools around this temple are believed to be sacred and contain miraculous powers of healing. The temple was built by King Bhagsu and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Dal lake And Naddi – Dal lake is 11 km from lower Dharamsala and lies in between hills and deodar trees. This is a starting point for trekking and excursion, which is covered around the lake to make the walk memorable.
Mcleodganj – Dalai lama monestary- Overlooking the mountain ranges of Dhauladhar, the Namgyal Monastery is situated within the Tsuglagkhang complex. This complex also is the proud home to the residence of Dalai Lama, among various other shrines, temples, bookstores, souvenir shops etc.
St. John’s Church – This neo-gothic church was built in 1852 and is one of the most important churches in Himachal Pradesh. Located near Dharamshala and on the way to Mcleodganj, this church was built in dedication to John the Baptist.evening back to hotel hotel.

Day 05: Dharamshala – Dalhouise (117 kms/ 3hrs 16mins)
Morning after breakfast, Check out from Dharamshala. En route visit Local Sightseeing of Dalhousie.
Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba district, in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated on 5 hills and has an elevation of 1,970 metres above sea level. Dalhousie Town was named after Lord Dalhousie, who was the British Governor-General in India while establishing this place as a summer retreat.
St. Johns Church This Church stands on the Gandhi Chowk. This Church was the first to be built after the town of Dalhousie was founded. Prior to 1863 a wooden structure stood at this place. The idea to build a stone structure took birth with the arrival of Rev. John H. Pratt who came to Dalhousie on 11-04-1863 and inspired the Christian community to build a permanent church building at this place. Building of this church is a copy of Roman Catholics Church of England but this church belongs to Protestants.
St. Francis Church This Catholic Church is a very prominent monument on the Subhash Chowk. This Church was built in the year 1894 from the contributions made by Army and Civil Officers and Civilians. This Church is managed and maintained by the Cathoilic Diocese of Jalandhar. St. Francis’ Church on Prtrain hill is believed to have been built on the lines of a certain church in England. Beautiful glass work and intricate stone work can be seen in the Church. Service is conducted every Sunday Panjpulla 1km It means five bridges. It is a picturesque spot with water flowing under the five small bridges. A samadhi of Sardar Ajit Singh, uncle of Bhagat Singh, adds to its importance. A small fresh water spring Satdhara is close by. There is also a water fall at Panjpulla.

Day 06: Dalhouise – Khajjiar and Kalatop (21kms/ 1hrs)
Morning after delicious breakfast drive to Khajjiar via Bakrota hills and Lakkar mandi.
Khajjiar is a hill station in Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, India, located approximately 24 km from Dalhousie. Khajjiar known as Little Switzerland of India. Here, you’ll find thick deodar and pine forests covering the little town. Aside from that, the Khajjiar Lake is also a favourite tourist spot in here.
Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary is a animal sanctuary at Kalatop and Khajjiar in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The sanctuary area is well laid out for trekking trails both at Kalatop and Khajjiar.Kalatop (wild-life santuary) is surrounded by dense pine and spruce forests and with a view of the snow capped Pir Panjal Range, and the velvety meadow of Khajjiar, the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is a gem of a tourist destination by its own right. The wildlife in the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary abounds Ibex, deer, bears and leopards, but they mostly hideaway and rarely come out to the buffer areas. However, one should look for pheasants and Serow. The sanctuary has well defined trekking trails and offers mind blowing view.
